How to Setup

The setup time and the setup process for Cornhole is extremely simple and quick.  Simply unlock the backboards, prop up the legs and give each set of Cornhole bean bags to the appropriate team. Setup each backboard approximately 33 feet or 10 meters distance apart. That’s it, you are ready to begin bean bag domination.

What’s Included

Included in each Cornhole game is 2 backboards that have fordable legs on a hinge to prop the backboard up at an angel.  Each included backboard has 1 holes for a goal. Also included is two sets of 8 bean bags, one red set, one blue set.

The backboards can easily retract their legs and if you place them together can lock together for easy storage of your bean bags.  This will ensure you don’t loose one of those bean bags.   Because you can store the bean bags in between each backboard, there is no reason for a carrying case to be included in your set.

Cornhole and BeanBag Toss Rules

Just as the setup for Cornhole, the rules to play are also just as simple.  You can play with teams up to 2 people.

Up to 2 people per team can play Cornhole

After you have setup each backboard 27 feet distance apart.  If you are playing with 2 people, have each person stand next to a backboard.  If you are playing in partners, each person should stand at the opposite backboard.

How to Setup Cornhole Game and Foul Lines

Decide which person or team goes first to throw the bean bag at the opposite backboard.  There is a round where each person standing together at one blackboard (one from each team) throws their bean bag at the backboard.  Throw the bags in rotation until each person has thrown all of their 4 bean bags.  Then the team at the opposite end of the game throw their bean bags in a round.

How to Score in Cornhole

There is one hole at the top of the backboard.  If you get into the hole, you get one point, if you get into the second you get 2 points and if you get into the third area you get 3 points.  If you get the bean bag in the hole you get 3 points.  Because the backboard is at an angle, it presents a challenge for bean bags sliding down the slippery surface. Sliding down right out of the points zone.  If you miss the board all together, you don’t get any points.  If your bean bag is half in the hole and half on the board you get 0 points, the bean bag has to make it all the way in.  An optional points system, is if the bean bag is half over the end of the board is 2 points.

Cornhole Points and Scoring System | How to Play Cornhole

Cornhole also plays with a cancelling out points system when counting the round points.  If there is one bean bag from each team in area 1 worth 1 points, they are each cancelled out and each team gets nothing.  If blue gets 3 points and red gets 2 points, you give 1 point to team blue.  As you can see, if both teams get close to the same score it can make it challenging.
